Key Responsibilities

• Transactional Expertise: Manage a diverse array of commercial real estate transactions, particularly in large loan financing. Draft and negotiate loan documentation, purchase and sale agreements, and related contracts.
• Title and Survey Review: Conduct in-depth title examinations and survey assessments to pinpoint potential risks or issues related to real estate properties, providing strategic counsel based on your insights.
• Due Diligence: Undertake comprehensive due diligence on real estate properties and associated assets to ensure legal compliance and uncover potential liabilities.
• Client Counseling: Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their objectives, delivering strategic, business-focused legal advice that supports their commercial real estate pursuits.
• Transaction Management: Supervise and coordinate all phases of real estate transactions from negotiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines and requirements.
• Research and Analysis: Maintain current knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and industry trends. Execute legal research and analysis to devise innovative solutions to intricate legal challenges.
• Team Leadership: Guide junior associates and support staff, fostering their professional growth and nurturing a cooperative work environment.
• Collaboration: Work synergistically with different practice groups within the firm, including finance, tax, and corporate, to provide holistic legal services to clients with varied needs.
• Client Development: Engage in business development initiatives, including client presentations, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings to broaden our client network and build enduring relationships.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, specializing in large loan financing and title and survey work.
• Proven track record in managing complex real estate transactions and delivering innovative legal solutions.
• Strong grasp of real estate financing methods, including debt and equity structures.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical competencies.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting.
• Proven commitment to providing high-quality legal services and surpassing client expectations.
