Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all stages of commercial real estate transactions, from the initial contract to closing.
- Conduct detailed property research, including title examinations, surveys, and lien assessments.
- Prepare and review critical legal documents such as deeds, leases, easements, and closing statements.
- Coordinate interactions with various stakeholders including clients, attorneys, brokers, and governmental entities.
- Maintain meticulous case files to ensure all documentation is accurate and current.
- Aid in the preparation of closing binders and post-closing documentation.
- Monitor key dates, deadlines, and filing requirements to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Perform legal research on zoning laws, land use regulations, and compliance with environmental laws.
- Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
- Facilitate property inspections and environmental assessments as necessary.
