In this pivotal role, you will work alongside the legal and compliance team, collaborating with various business units and subject matter experts to ensure adherence to due diligence requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance (45%)
- Oversee and provide training on the 3rd party due diligence portal.
- Work in tandem with internal business units to clarify diligence criteria for International Trade, FCPA, gifts, and hospitality transactions.
- Analyze screening data to assess risk profiles, identifying potential issues and risks.
- Ensure operational excellence in customer due diligence, documentation, and remediation processes.
- Formulate and implement strategies to bolster compliance and diminish audit risks.
- Ensure alignment with global due diligence objectives.
- Utilize internal audit findings to propose enhancements and conduct self-assessments.
- Report compliance metrics to the Compliance Manager.
- Assist in generating reports to compile compliance information.
- Administer the legal billing system, including user management.
- Assist in the setup of the legal billing system and monitor invoice approval processes.
- Compile reports related to training platforms and the legal billing system as needed.
- Assist in the administration of the enterprise compliance training platform as required.
- Proficiency in customer onboarding diligence, employee compliance training, and legal billing processes.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with the aptitude to interpret data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience within a corporate legal department is essential.
- Proven experience in documentation of procedures and processes, as well as development of management systems.
- Preferred experience in the manufacturing sector or similar industries.
- Familiarity with GAN Integrity & Legal Tracker is advantageous.
