Job Overview

We are in search of a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Inspector to oversee and assess highway projects, including roadways, bridges, and related infrastructure. Your role will be vital in maintaining the quality and compliance of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of projects to ensure conformity with established plans and specifications
• Validate quantities of completed work for payment processing
• Compile detailed daily inspection reports
• Monitor extra work and force accounts
• Evaluate materials delivered to job sites for adherence to project specifications
  
  

Required Skills

• ACI Field Certification (Required)
• ATTI Field Certification (Required)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Capability to work outdoors across various environments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Willingness to undertake remote projects
• Experience in sampling and testing construction materials on job sites
• ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification (Preferred)
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification (Preferred)
• Erosion Control Coordinator (SWPPP) Certification (Preferred)
• A valid driver's license and a reliable driving record
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is preferred.
• Relevant experience in construction inspections, specifically with highway projects.
