Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing continuous support.
- Deliver insights for plan enhancements and assist clients in grasping their retirement options.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition to our services.
- Conduct essential compliance testing for plans, including coverage and nondiscrimination assessments.
- Compute employer contributions and reconcile trust accounts to maintain precision.
- Generate government reports, compliance documentation, and other requisite materials.
- Interpret plan document provisions and liaise effectively with financial advisors, auditors, attorneys, and payroll teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retirement plan regulations through ongoing research and professional development.
- Process various transactions including loans, distributions, and QDROs.
- Identify and enact improvement opportunities within the organization.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to refine processes and enhance deliverables.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude with a genuine passion for assisting others.
- Strong proficiency in accounting, mathematics, and analytical functions.
- Proven capability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities.
- A strong commitment to professional development and ongoing education.
- Excellent organizational skills complemented by a high level of attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in 401(k) plan administration, including compliance testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Statistics is preferred.
- Possession or pursuit of professional certifications such as QPA, QKA, AKS, or APA is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and possess advanced Excel skills.
