Key Responsibilities
- Execute and finalize non-Title IV financial options upon student registration.
- Collaborate with enrollment staff regarding payment arrangements for re-entry students with outstanding account balances.
- Support military students in applying for VA and military benefits for approved programs.
- Engage in collecting balances on active student accounts through various communication channels, including outbound calls, emails, and texts.
- Document all communications related to students in the Student Information System (SIS).
- Analyze reports to ensure precise posting of charges and payments.
- Update student account details for collection reports.
- Participate in weekly collection report meetings.
- Prepare invoices for CTA, State Vocational Rehabilitation, WIA, and other funding sources.
- Review the list of non-returning students for account reconciliation and conduct exit interviews to inform students of the financial implications of withdrawing.
- Collect outstanding balances on accounts of withdrawn students for a period of up to 90 days post-withdrawal.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with university policies and ethical guidelines, including compliance with the Financial Aid Code of Conduct and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Adhere to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and all other relevant laws and regulations.
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
