Key Responsibilities
- Operate in a flexible hybrid remote setting.
- Spearhead all phases of labor and employment litigation, from initial case evaluation to trial preparation.
- Formulate case strategies and prepare pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development.
- Advocate for clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, ensuring compelling representation.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, remaining abreast of legal developments and industry trends.
- Negotiate settlements, manage disputes, and cultivate enduring client relationships.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and support staff to drive successful outcomes.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Active California Bar license.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in labor and employment litigation.
- Proficient in motion practice, trial preparation, and trial advocacy.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to offer strategic advice and nurture client relationships.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in labor and employment litigation.
- Familiarity with traditional labor law is an advantage.
- Documented experience in managing discovery disputes and trial scenarios.
