Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic MLS Member Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dedicated team. The successful candidate will possess a proactive and engaging demeanor, coupled with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service within our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer support to members utilizing the MLS platform, including answering inquiries through phone and email, troubleshooting technical issues, and guiding new members through various processes.
  • Process IDX vendor requests by accurately completing contractual obligations and liaising with necessary authorities.
  • Monitor MLS Compliance & Violations reports, reaching out to members in breach of compliance and executing necessary changes.
  • Handle lockbox orders efficiently.
  • Utilize a ticket management system to create and update service requests and work orders as necessary.
  • Assist prospective and existing members with membership inquiries, processing payments, and directing them to appropriate departments.
  • Ensure timely responses to emails, instant messages, voicemails, and online chats.
  • Support members with inquiries related to purchases in our ToolShop store.
  • Collaborate on special projects across different departments as required.

Required Skills

  • A high school diploma accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience within the real estate sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel).
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to new software systems.
  • Typing skills of no less than 45 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, demonstrating patience and attentive listening.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and projecting a professional demeanor.
  • Effective time management to prioritize and execute various tasks throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant customer service experience is required.
  • Preferred background in the real estate industry.
  • Familiarity with technological applications relevant to the role.
