Key Responsibilities
- Drive Business Development (45%): Oversee the complete sales process, from strategic planning and execution to client qualification, needs assessment, and proposal delivery. Engage actively in business development initiatives and represent our organization within the community. Identify client needs and craft bespoke solutions that promote their business success. Market and cross-sell deposit products and treasury services, showcasing your expertise and driving our market presence. Refer loan opportunities to relevant lending teams.
- Nurture Client Relationships (25%): Manage a diverse portfolio of treasury services and deposit-only clients, establishing and sustaining long-term productive relationships. Serve as a secondary relationship manager for lending clients with complex treasury needs. Enhance relationships with top deposit clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Deliver exceptional service to clients with specialized cash management requirements, balancing their needs with risk management considerations.
- Deliver Exceptional Client Service (15%): Act as the principal point of contact for intricate business depository and treasury service inquiries. Provide outstanding service to internal and external clients, vendors, and team members. Utilize your product acumen to address client issues, conducting in-depth root cause analyses when necessary. Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer business requirements and proactively propose solutions. Offer remote pre- and post-sales support, including customization, installation, training, and ongoing technical assistance. Collaborate with the deposit operations team on product-related tasks.
- Contribute to Treasury Services Operations (15%): Partner with deposit operations and banking teams to innovate competitive and profitable treasury service products. Facilitate training sessions for team members on treasury offerings. Prepare client onboarding documentation, agreements, and implementation plans. Identify investment opportunities within banking systems and resources. Oversee system design, adjustments, and implementation. Remain informed on treasury products, systems, and industry trends.
- Proven expertise in bank operations, products, services, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software tools.
- Familiarity with cash management, funds management, and bank data processing.
- Comprehension of product costing and pricing strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Treasury services, banking operations, or sales, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to sell and service clients effectively.
- Treasury Management Certification (CTP) is preferred, or a readiness to obtain it.
