Parent Coach - Part-Time Remote Position in the Keene, NH Area

In this fulfilling role, you will empower parents by focusing on their strengths, assisting them in setting family goals while respecting their cultural backgrounds, and fostering strong attachment bonds that facilitate the safe return of their children.
During Family Visits, you will engage parents in developmentally appropriate activities with their children, such as playing games and reading together. You will benefit from regular reflective supervision, team meetings, and the support of a dedicated program team.
This is a flexible part-time position, ideally suited for those with availability between 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for weekend visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Empower families to set and achieve meaningful goals.
- Coach parents during Family Visits by leading age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain professional boundaries while handling confidential information.
- Effectively manage a flexible schedule to accommodate multiple visits.
- Safely transport children and assist in the installation of car seats as necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of and ability to positively engage with children and parents facing mental health or substance misuse challenges.
- Proficiency in using technology and electronic health record systems for documentation.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and SharePoint is preferred.
- An Associate degree complemented by two years of relevant social services experience, or four years of applicable experience in the field.
- Parenting experience is advantageous.
- Candidates must be at least 22 years old.
- A valid driver's license along with a satisfactory motor vehicle background check, reliable transportation, and auto insurance that meets agency standards are required.
