- Act as a trusted partner for real estate owners and investors.
- Analyze client objectives to prioritize and strategize effective project plans.
- Organize internal teams and coordinate external resources to uphold high-quality standards.
- Foster transparent communication among internal and external project stakeholders.
- Collaborate extensively with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, property managers, and lenders.
- Estimate project costs, negotiate agreements, and manage budgets to ensure financial adherence.
- Accelerate project timelines to ensure prompt completion of critical tasks.
- Identify potential risks and manage them proactively to minimize challenges.
- Source and negotiate contracts for architectural, engineering, and construction services.
- Supervise the transition of projects from construction phases to occupancy.
- Travel to project sites to monitor progress and maintain comprehensive project knowledge.
- Lead the due diligence process and provide consultation prior to closing.
- Navigate entitlement, permit, and approval processes efficiently.
- Manage ground-up development projects in collaboration with clients and general contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, building engineering, real estate, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of experience as a lead construction manager or real estate project manager on projects exceeding $20 million, with a preference for experience as an owner’s representative.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through due diligence, design, and construction phases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with online project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Dropbox).
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with clients and vendors.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and problem-solve independently or within a team.
- Strong delegation skills and the initiative to hold team members accountable.
- A proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.
- Attention to detail with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
