Position Overview

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team based in Florida. This pivotal role will allow you to oversee multiple renovation and new development projects, guiding them from acquisition diligence to final occupancy. Your primary focus will be on achieving project goals while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. You will work closely with colleagues to provide outstanding owner representation and construction management services while building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner for real estate owners and investors.
• Analyze client objectives to prioritize and strategize effective project plans.
• Organize internal teams and coordinate external resources to uphold high-quality standards.
• Foster transparent communication among internal and external project stakeholders.
• Collaborate extensively with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, property managers, and lenders.
• Estimate project costs, negotiate agreements, and manage budgets to ensure financial adherence.
• Accelerate project timelines to ensure prompt completion of critical tasks.
• Identify potential risks and manage them proactively to minimize challenges.
• Source and negotiate contracts for architectural, engineering, and construction services.
• Supervise the transition of projects from construction phases to occupancy.
• Travel to project sites to monitor progress and maintain comprehensive project knowledge.
• Lead the due diligence process and provide consultation prior to closing.
• Navigate entitlement, permit, and approval processes efficiently.
• Manage ground-up development projects in collaboration with clients and general contractors.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, building engineering, real estate, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a lead construction manager or real estate project manager on projects exceeding $20 million, with a preference for experience as an owner’s representative.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through due diligence, design, and construction phases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with online project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Dropbox).
• Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with clients and vendors.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and problem-solve independently or within a team.
• Strong delegation skills and the initiative to hold team members accountable.
• A proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.
• Attention to detail with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
