Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advocate for real estate owners and investors.
- Evaluate client objectives to effectively prioritize and strategize project plans.
- Organize internal teams while integrating external resources to uphold high standards of quality.
- Facilitate seamless communication among internal and external project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a range of professionals including developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and property managers.
- Forecast project costs, negotiate commitments, and manage expenses to adhere to budget constraints.
- Accelerate schedules to ensure the timely completion of essential tasks.
- Identify and mitigate risks to reduce unforeseen challenges.
- Source and negotiate contracts for architectural, engineering, and construction services.
- Supervise the transition of projects from construction to occupancy.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain comprehensive project knowledge.
- Lead the due diligence process and offer pre-closing consultation.
- Navigate and advocate through entitlement, permitting, and approval processes.
- Manage ground-up development projects in conjunction with clients and their general contractors.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction, building engineering, real estate, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a lead construction manager or real estate project manager on projects exceeding $20 million, with preferred experience as an owner's representative.
- Proven track record of leading project teams through due diligence, design, and construction phases.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with online project management tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining positive relationships with clients and vendors.
- Ability to collaborate and resolve problems effectively in both team environments and independently.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Valid driver's license and capability to operate a vehicle safely.
