Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements from inception to completion, ensuring effective planning, execution, direction, and finalization of financial statement engagements while adhering to budget constraints.
- Supervise, instruct, and mentor associates and interns throughout the audit process, promoting their professional development.
- Proactively identify and resolve client issues that may arise during audits, effectively communicating findings to the Manager or Partner overseeing the engagement.
- Conduct thorough research, review, and analysis of evolving audit and accounting standards, sharing relevant insights with team members and clients.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business goals, applying this knowledge to engagements while training associates accordingly.
- Commit to continuous professional growth through participation in regular training sessions and ongoing development opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS/BA).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive audit experience with a public accounting firm.
- Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS as they pertain to financial statement engagements.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to a vibrant team culture.

- Strong skills in project management, organization, and analytical thinking.

- Competency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- CPA certification is preferred or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Experience in personal and entity income taxation is desirable but not essential.
- Preferred background in at least one of the following sectors: investment partnerships, private equity, manufacturing and distribution, or real estate.
