Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage intricate tax engagements for clients in the real estate and construction sectors.
- Review and analyze complex tax returns, such as 1065s, while identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on intricate tax matters, including 1031 exchanges, special allocations, and cost segregation studies.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and proactive tax planning insights.
- Mentor and support junior staff, promoting a positive and growth-oriented workplace environment.
- An active CPA license in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience, emphasizing real estate and construction clientele.
- Proficiency in tax software, preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client service abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex tax issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
