Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions through telehealth, creating a safe and supportive environment for youth and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs of each youth and formulate tailored treatment plans.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to facilitate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services rendered to meet compliance standards.
- Engage in continuous training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Exceptional observational, listening, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Familiarity with identifying and treating behavioral health disorders is advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with database management is a plus.
- A completed or in-progress Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
- A valid license (LISW, LMFT, LMHC, LMSW) to practice in Iowa or a temporary license with plans to pursue independent licensure.
- A minimum of one year of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy is required; two years for those who are independently licensed.
