Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of clinical services, including assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, marital therapy, and case management.
- Ensure timely completion of all required clinical documentation, such as assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in line with agency guidelines.
- Meet the agency’s standards for billable services and actively participate in peer reviews and program evaluations.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical supervisors and program staff on administrative tasks and program planning.
- Participate in staff meetings, clinical staff evaluations, and supervision sessions.
- Provide mentorship to practicum students, when necessary.
- Assist in community education initiatives and contribute to program policy updates.
- A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- An active Illinois State License in Professional Counseling or Social Work.
- Proven experience in counseling both adults and children.
- Familiarity with a community mental health environment.
- Experience in delivering telehealth therapy to diverse age groups.
- Capability to work independently from home with a reliable internet connection while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in resolving technical issues either independently or with minimal guidance.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A strong foundation in mental health counseling with experience in both adult and child therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a community mental health setting.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through peer reviews and program evaluations, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
