Position Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead organizational change management (OCM) and process improvement initiatives for our federal government clientele. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with implementing strategies that optimize operations, elevate organizational performance, and drive transformative changes within businesses. You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage business process reengineering endeavors, and guide clients through comprehensive change management initiatives focused on enhancing their operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Direct and manage OCM and process improvement programs across various projects and departments, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain robust relationships with senior client stakeholders, facilitating clear communication regarding project objectives, progress, and challenges encountered.
  • Change Management Strategy: Formulate and execute thorough change management plans that include readiness assessments, communication strategies, human capital evaluations, and training programs.
  • Process Improvement: Examine existing client processes to uncover inefficiencies and create effective solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Team Management: Lead a diverse team of consultants, analysts, and program staff, ensuring timely completion of program goals and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to guarantee seamless execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing improvement by identifying continuous opportunities for refining business processes.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract execution, ensuring adherence to federal requirements and deliverables.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, particularly in OCM and process improvement initiatives, preferably within the federal government or public sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in business, organizational development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is mandatory.
  • Prosci, CCMP, or similar Change Management certifications are highly desirable.
  • PMP or PgMP certification is essential.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale OCM initiatives.
  • Profound understanding of business process reengineering (BPR) methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to organizational changes and process improvement programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Possession of Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, particularly in organizational transformations and process optimization.
  • Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma or comparable process improvement methodologies.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required.
