About The Role
We're seeking a talented mid-level HR Specialist with robust generalist knowledge and extensive experience in payroll processing, including familiarity with California wage and hour law compliance. Initially starting as a part-time role for approximately 20 hours a week, this position is expected to transition to full-time within 90 days due to our firm's growth.
You will engage in various HR projects both onsite and remotely, under the guidance of our primary HR Consultants and management team. Your responsibilities will include payroll processing across multiple systems such as ADP, GUSTO, and PayChex. You'll also handle employee relations, compliance with California employment laws, recruitment, and training.
This role is not suitable for trainees; we are looking for seasoned professionals with at least three years of HR generalist and payroll administration experience.
Work Environment
Our team works from various locations, blending remote work from home with in-office days in Oceanside, CA, and client site visits throughout Southern California, including San Diego, the Inland Empire, and Orange County. While not required, bi-lingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are preferred.
