Job Overview

We are searching for a committed and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in a government contract based in Silver Spring, MD. This hybrid position promotes a flexible working environment, allowing for predominantly remote work with occasional on-site attendance required for key meetings and special events.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff within the Communications Division to drive impactful initiatives, including:

  • Formulating and implementing comprehensive strategic communication plans for National Safety Campaigns, engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Overseeing internal communication strategies that ensure all staff, programs, and field offices receive essential information and resources, while also managing external collaborations with partners and targeted public audiences.
  • Crafting and refining diverse content forms, such as web articles, social media updates, toolkits, videos, and briefing papers for unique projects.
  • Acting as a content steward for NWS websites, guaranteeing an engaging and informative digital presence.
  • Offering on-site media support, including the production of presentation materials like publications and brochures for both internal and external audiences.
  • Delivering high-quality graphical design services to the NWS Director and other teams, ensuring compelling visual content.
  • Managing multimedia design tasks across print, web, and video platforms to enhance communication efforts.
  • Developing web content, including podcasts and video clips, while adhering to accessibility standards.
  • Producing broadcast-quality video and photography for website use and media releases.

Required Skills
