What You'll Do
Faculty Members Will Collaborate With Others To
Create and facilitate contextualized and integrated learning experiences in Photography aligned with college pathways and career goals
Develop authentic assessments of students' knowledge, skills, and abilities in Photography
Apply multiple teaching and learning strategies that promote the affective, cognitive, and kinesthetic domains of learning
Support students both in and out of the classroom, directing them to campus services and resources as needed
Be available to teach classes on various days and times
Course Description: Beginning and Intermediate Digital Photography
Course Schedule Information: One course quarterly, afternoon or evening
Qualifications You Possess
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in Fine Arts with a 2D emphasis
Experience with learning management systems (Canvas)
Evidence of teaching experience or potential
Commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Fluency with Adobe Photoshop, Light Room, manual control and all aspects of DSLR operation, and Epson Printers
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of college-level teaching experience
Portfolio with ten samples of personal/professional studio practice work
Portfolio with ten samples of student work
