Job Overview

Join our innovative company as a Director of Sales, where you will play a pivotal role in reshaping home living. In this key leadership position, you will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up atmosphere, managing multiple projects and driving the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives. Collaborating closely with the VP of Development, you will spearhead the creation of new processes and sales techniques designed to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge methodologies for lead generation, both inbound and outbound.
  • Assess and enhance existing sales processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and nurture a talented team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
  • Broaden our supply network by identifying and creating pitch opportunities for qualifying apartments across North America.
  • Discover and establish new outbound lead sources.
  • Continuously build upon existing growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise impactful online and offline campaigns that elevate brand awareness and create new pitch opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough data-driven analyses to support sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to bolster company growth.
  • Attain comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings and articulate their value effectively.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, customer meetings, and internal executive strategy sessions, influencing the strategic direction of our real estate business.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of successfully driving the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive self-starter with a talent for complex problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and address concurrent challenges.
  • Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and committed to achieving goals.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced setting with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to travel across North America up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably within the real estate sector.
  • A successful history of leading a high-performing sales team and consistently achieving targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
