Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations to ensure financial statement accuracy.
• Lead the development of budgets and financial forecasts, addressing any variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the regulatory reporting processes effectively.
• Research technical accounting issues to maintain compliance.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage cash flow and funding balances proficiently.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Navigate local, state, and federal reporting and tax obligations.
• Supervise and mentor accounting teams to foster their professional growth.
  
  

Required Skills

• CPA or CIA designation.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or CFO capacity within companies generating $500 million annually.
