Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently
- High Emotional Intelligence and a desire for continuous learning
- Proficiency with financial management software and accounting systems
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations
- Willingness to travel occasionally to one of our offices in Texas
- Oversee and manage the financial activities of our properties and management company on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and manage budgets for our hotel properties, using your forecasting skills to drive financial success and uncover new opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior accountants and General Managers, sharing your expertise to build a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development Team to create training materials and improve processes within the Accounting Department.
- Navigate tax regulations with ease, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax savings and incentives.
