Key Responsibilities
- Engage and support families by responding promptly to referrals and ensuring follow-up.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to discern each family’s specific challenges and strengths.
- Collaborate with families to establish goals and formulate tailored support plans.
- Deliver therapeutic support utilizing various clinical interventions focused on both individuals and families.
- Assist families in navigating resources and services to ensure they access essential support.
- Employ a creative and individualized approach in helping families achieve their objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years of lived experience in kinship or fictive kin care.
- Master’s degree in a human services-related discipline (e.g., MA, MFT, MSW).
- Preference for license eligibility (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends to accommodate family needs.
- Capability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to client locations.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are advantageous.
- Lived experience in kinship or fictive kin care is essential.
- A Master's degree in a human services-related field is required.
- Candidates should have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
