Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a comprehensive cash flow forecasting model that enhances transparency in the company’s liquidity status.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and long-term cash flow forecasts, incorporating seasonal and operational variables.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to understand the key cash drivers and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze and refine working capital cycles, concentrating on receivables, payables, and inventory to optimize cash flow.
- Partner with sales, operations, and procurement teams to implement initiatives that enhance working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with debt covenants while supporting the CFO in maintaining robust lender relationships.
- Monitor and manage debt levels, interest rates, and financial obligations effectively.
- Evaluate exposure to currency and interest rates, executing hedging strategies as necessary.
- Establish and uphold effective internal controls for cash management.
- Prepare and present insightful cash flow, working capital, and liquidity reports to the CFO and various stakeholders.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate cash flow resilience.
- Assist in the development of financial models and analyses that aid in strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving expertise with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and modeling tools, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at presenting complex financial information to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury, finance, or cash management, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash flow forecasting, debt management, and working capital optimization.
