Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow forecasting models, providing accurate visibility into the organization's liquidity.
- Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and long-term basis, considering seasonal and operational dynamics.
- Collaborate with various operational and finance teams to align forecasts with business strategies and goals.
- Analyze and enhance working capital cycles, focusing on receivables, payables, and inventory to optimize cash flow efficiency.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to implement initiatives that improve collections and manage supplier payments effectively.
- Formulate strategies to optimize inventory levels while ensuring efficient cash utilization without disrupting operations.
- Ensure compliance with debt covenants and aid the CFO in managing relationships with lenders.
- Monitor debt levels, interest rates, and other financing obligations, while assessing currency and interest rate exposure to implement appropriate hedging strategies.
- Establish and uphold robust internal controls for cash management.
- Prepare and present reports on cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to the CFO, private equity sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct scenario analyses and stress testing to evaluate cash flow resilience.
- Assist in financial modeling and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in treasury, finance, or cash management, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Demonstrable expertise in cash flow forecasting, debt management, and optimizing working capital.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and modeling tools, with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for presenting financial data to various stakeholders.
