Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior analysts, sharing your accounting expertise and guidance.
• Address intricate expense challenges, allocations, and troubleshooting tasks, providing effective solutions to ensure operational efficiency.
• Contribute significantly to the monthly closing process by managing expense accruals, creating comprehensive financial summaries, and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Oversee expense management across multiple locations, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Lead various projects, including system updates and site transitions, to enhance our operational effectiveness.
• Utilize your analytical skills to compile financial reports from diverse platforms, revealing actionable insights.
• Prepare journal entries and manage expense accrual data to maintain high-quality financial statements.
• Analyze monthly P&L variances, communicate findings, and propose operational improvements to leadership.
• Monitor performance against predetermined budget goals and spearhead cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Customer Operations team to facilitate accurate invoicing processes.
• Engage in customer financial and internal review meetings, elucidating variances and expense classifications.
• Respond to stakeholder requests for financial information, including audit-related inquiries.
• Build strong relationships as a trusted partner to Operations and other Finance/Accounting departments, promoting collaboration.
  
  

Required Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong analytical skill set.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
• Skilled in navigating complex scenarios with professionalism and sensitivity.
• Proven capability to analyze financial data and present actionable recommendations.
