Key Responsibilities
- Deliver essential medical and procedural consultations to residents, ensuring compliance with all facility policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with facility administrators to enhance service quality and develop future resident care programs.
- Provide expert advice on medical equipment needs and staffing requirements.
- Maintain 24⁄7 availability for any facility emergencies that may arise.
- Participate in monthly Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings, contributing to discussions at least 10 months annually.
- Assist in the formulation of clinical pathways aimed at improving resident care standards.
- Support marketing initiatives for the facility as required.
- Work in coordination with fellow attending physicians to guarantee the delivery of top-tier care.
- Medical degree and valid licensure to practice medicine in Illinois.
- Proven experience in skilled nursing facilities or working with geriatric populations.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to function independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
- A strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents.
- Must possess a medical degree from an accredited institution.
