Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive testing of intricate systems and subsystems at various locations, both on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with engineers across the program to ensure adherence to Navy standards for all deliverables.
- Analyze software to confirm alignment with system, functional, and performance specifications.
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of anomalies, effectively resolving technical challenges.
- Operate within an Agile development framework to consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Proven experience as a U.S. Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or Sonar Technician (ST).
- Familiarity with the AN/BYG-1 combat control system (FT) or Contact Management Fire Control Display (ST) is advantageous.
- Experience with formal testing methodologies in a Department of Defense (DoD) production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Agile development environments is a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally is required.
- Understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools is beneficial.
- Comprehensive grasp of test engineering principles and theories.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent military training in Fire Control or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both local and remote teams.
