Your contributions will be pivotal in safeguarding the participants and ensuring a positive and enriching experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of participant medical histories and collaborate with parents and staff to address individual health needs.
- Establish the program infirmary and finalize comprehensive health and safety protocols.
- Provide 24⁄7 health consultation during the program duration.
- Implement safety measures, oversee sanitation practices, and perform health screenings.
- Manage medical emergencies and injuries, maintain accurate medical logs, and supervise medication administration.
- Collaborate with program staff, including the Assistant Health Director and Camp Director, to foster a safe and supportive environment while offering constructive feedback for future improvements.
- Maryland State certification or Compact Nursing License as a physician, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Drive and other web-based communication tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Availability for on-site residency during the program, if needed, in accordance with participant medical requirements.
- No conflicting commitments during the program dates.
- Proof of FDA- or WHO-authorized/approved COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption).
