Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and patient-focused pulmonology services by rounding on residents in SNFs.
- Diagnose and manage health conditions related to the respiratory system and lungs.
- Provide preventative healthcare measures to improve patient outcomes.
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
- Collaborate effectively with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) in the daily management of patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation through our user-friendly electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine with an additional Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine.
- An active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail in clinical observations and documentation.
- Completion of a U.S. residency program.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution.
- An active and unrestricted DEA license in Michigan.
- Reliable transportation for patient visits.
