Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory management of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels through systematic audits and prompt restocking.
- Direct the receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accurate labeling, packaging, and timely deliveries.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to guarantee that all medical supplies and equipment meet established quality standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of inventory transactions, including receiving, shipping, and restocking activities.
- Monitor critical product information, such as expiration dates and lot numbers, to mitigate misuse or waste.
- Coordinate routine equipment inspections and repairs, collaborating with external service providers as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines pertaining to medical products and equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication with other departments and healthcare personnel to enhance logistics processes.
- Collaborate with requestors, cataloging, purchasing, and supply chain management teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Optimize the movement of personnel and equipment for maximum operational efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Strong multitasking ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in PC/Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with databases and spreadsheet management.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional data entry proficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent (an associate degree in a related field is preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Physical capability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating stairs.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a permanent resident card.
- Current MRPT Clearance is preferred.
