Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships and revenue streams to bolster our growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customer accounts.
- Develop new channels for securing feedstock supply and off-taker agreements.
- Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and negotiate agreements and commercial terms effectively.
- Formulate and implement negotiation strategies aimed at maximizing value while minimizing risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business discussions with technical and operational objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends and monitor shifts within the industry.
- Generate monthly sales pipeline forecasts and provide comprehensive progress reports.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and trade shows to enhance networking opportunities.
- A minimum of 5 years of business development experience, including at least 1 year centered on the lithium-ion battery value chain.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and securing new business opportunities.
- Strong acumen in understanding industry dynamics and market conditions.
- Demonstrated capability in negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with commercial terms, contract structures, and intellectual property concepts.
- Ability to drive sales of innovative technologies effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong motivation towards achieving results and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Willingness to travel frequently (50%-80%).
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
