We are in search of an accomplished and driven Financial Manager to become a vital member of our team. This pivotal position involves delivering financial oversight and strategic support for a significant government program.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and scrutinize budgets, reports, and financial documentation.
- Execute financial forecasting and perform variance analysis.
- Offer financial counsel and recommendations to program managers.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of financial strategies.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to meet program objectives.
- Utilize your expertise in DoD financial management systems (e.g., DEAMS, CCaRS, CRIS) to deliver insightful analyses.
- Profound understanding of DoD financial management principles and practices.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, accompanied by 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years within the DoD.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
- Or, 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including 8 years within the DoD.
- Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with government contracting and Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.
