Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide analysts within the Field Finance team, sharing your valuable knowledge.
• Manage intricate expense issues and allocations, offering strategic recommendations.
• Support the monthly closing process, encompassing expense accruals, financial analyses, and P&L ownership for designated warehouse locations.
• Oversee expenses across multiple customer-centric sites.
• Lead various ad-hoc projects, including system and site modifications.
• Generate financial reports utilizing platforms such as SAP and UKG.
• Prepare journal entries and accrual information to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct monthly P&L variance analysis and present insights to Operations leadership.
• Manage performance metrics against budget targets and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations Specialists and Leaders in invoicing activities.
• Engage in internal financial review meetings, providing updates on customer variances and contract requirements.
• Address requests for field financial data, including audit inquiries.
• Act as a trusted partner to Operations and other finance and accounting teams.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate independently while making sound decisions.
• Strong judgment and diplomacy in complex situations.
• Proven capability to analyze financial data and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with remote colleagues.
