We are in search of a highly skilled and strategic Vice President of Silicon Operations to spearhead our global supply chain initiatives related to innovative silicon products. This remote opportunity is designed for a visionary leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiencies across international platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full ownership of the supply chain for silicon products, enhancing efficiency at every level.
  • Craft, execute, and maintain a forward-thinking five-year supply chain strategy, anticipating future organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, enabling proactive supply management.
  • Formulate and implement a robust wafer supply strategy that aligns with financial and supply goals.
  • Supervise and expand relationships with contract manufacturers, ensuring the transformation of wafers into premium finished goods.
  • Drive excellence in quality and customer service while achieving financial and operational targets.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners on a global scale.
  • Oversee all manufacturing and logistics operations for seamless process management.
  • Establish and refine key performance indicators for continuous supply chain improvement.
  • Manage budgets effectively, encompassing both capital and operational needs to sustain production.
  • Cultivate and lead high-performing teams to support rapid growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, including 5 to 7 years in a managerial capacity within a global organization.
  • Proven success in managing supplier relationships and driving cost reduction initiatives.
  • Experience negotiating substantial, long-term contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale organizational processes effectively.
