This fully remote position allows you to lead procurement initiatives for solar and battery storage projects across the United States, helping us drive the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for engineering and construction services, ensuring alignment with our clean energy objectives.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing insights on market dynamics and supplier landscapes.
• Identify, prequalify, and nurture strategic partnerships with key service vendors to enhance project outcomes.
• Create and manage comprehensive databases of preferred vendors, integrating sourcing intelligence.
• Oversee the development of bid packages for RFIs and RFPs, collaborating closely with Engineering, Development, and Project Management teams.
• Administer the RFI and RFP processes, ensuring timely completion and alignment with project goals.
• Maximize procurement value through innovative strategies, including partner vetting and internal capability leveraging.
• Negotiate favorable contract terms with support from Legal and Management.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships across the organization to enhance procurement effectiveness.
• Contribute to the evolution of company-wide procurement best practices and refine strategies to meet organizational targets.
• Analyze procurement activities to identify trends and support broader company objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to market changes.
• Assist in the expansion of the Procurement division by identifying new opportunities for talent acquisition and skill development.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities, including data analysis and cost-benefit evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining productive supplier relationships.
• Experience in risk management and contract mitigation strategies.
• In-depth understanding of procurement legalities.
• Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Proficient in procurement software and relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy EPC services sector and related contract structures.
• CPSM or equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance is required (Master's preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles is essential.
