Our dedicated team of licensed therapists, certified peer specialists, community support associates, and case managers is committed to empowering those we serve.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with primary behavioral health or co-occurring disorders.
- Offer skills training, supervision, and therapeutic behavioral interventions.
- Assist clients in accessing and utilizing community resources and developing emotional regulation skills.
- Support the enhancement of interpersonal and life skills for clients.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement therapeutic programs and activities.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and help clients develop goals for their Person-Centered Plan.
- Work effectively with diverse individuals and groups to promote empowerment and advocacy.
- Assist in developing and facilitating workshops and groups focused on advocacy, life skills, and self-empowerment.
- Engage and support youth in classroom settings, from elementary through high school.
- Model and teach effective communication, coping, and recovery-oriented living skills.
- Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with treatment teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals receiving treatment for mental health or co-occurring disorders.
- Successful completion of a department-approved training program (within six months of hire) as per Kentucky State Regulations 908 KAR 2:250.
- Demonstrated leadership, advocacy, and self-directed professional development in the behavioral health field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage stress, and meet deadlines.
- Strong crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented, flexible, and creative, with a passion for youth development.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries while providing supportive services.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and value systems.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
