Youth Community Support Associate

Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Youth Community Support Associate to provide mentorship, guidance, and support to young individuals. This role involves working directly with youth to help them navigate challenges, set and achieve personal goals, and build positive relationships within their communities.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Mentorship & Support: Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth through one-on-one and group interactions.
✅ Life Skills Development: Facilitate workshops and activities to develop social, emotional, and life skills.
✅ Advocacy & Guidance: Assist youth in accessing community resources, educational opportunities, and support services.
✅ Positive Engagement: Plan and lead recreational and educational activities that promote healthy social interactions.
✅ Behavioral Monitoring: Observe and document behavioral changes, progress, and challenges to ensure effective support.
✅ Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to coordinate care and services.
✅ Cultural Sensitivity: Incorporate socio-economic and cultural awareness into support strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Education: High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Development, or related field is preferred.
✔ Experience: Previous experience working with youth in community programs, mentoring, or educational settings is a plus.
✔ Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
✔ Passion for Youth Empowerment: Genuine desire to support and uplift young people in their personal growth.
✔ Background Check: Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
