The GetGo Assistant Store Leader plays a pivotal role in maintaining a well-oiled machine within the store team. This position coaches, supervises, and leads the team on behalf of the Store Leader, fostering growth and development among Team Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach the team to drive incredible store success by holding them accountable to exceptional product quality, service, store conditions, and cleanliness.
- Support Store Leadership decisions through coaching and collaborative action planning with front-line leadership and Team Members to meet or exceed key performance metric targets/projections.
- Execute merchandising plans timely and completely, building upon prescribed plans to achieve maximum sales and minimal shrink.
- Recognize business trends and opportunities within the store, market, and organization, proactively managing inventory levels to increase sales, control costs, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with Store Leadership to support resource allocation, prioritize work through effective scheduling, labor management, and delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
- Promote ongoing professional development of all Team Members and front-line leaders through talent management processes, including development plans, career pathing discussions, and special projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead by example, provide continuous support and coaching to Team Members, and utilize recognition to maintain successful performance. They will also adhere to and follow up on work designs for Team Members and front-line leadership tasks and responsibilities, utilizing problem-solving techniques to make performance improvements within the store.
