Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
- Implement care plans and ensure the well-being and safety of individuals.
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for individuals.

Skills:
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of (DSP) work principles and practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care routines.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and ability to monitor vital signs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
