POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at GetixHealth, you will be responsible for managing client-assigned healthcare accounts, ensuring they are billed and paid accurately and timely. You will work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and GetixHealth's policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service while helping patients navigate their healthcare needs.
Location: Onsite (Northwest Center: 7550 West Interstate 10 San Antonio, TX 78229)
Shift: 9am-6pm,10am-7pm CST or 11am-8pm CST
Compensation: $17.00
POSTITION REQUIREMENTS:

Medical Collections: Manage and resolve outstanding medical accounts by contacting patients, clients, and insurance companies.

Customer Inquiries: Respond to inbound and outbound telephone inquiries, utilizing standard procedures and scripts.

Issue Resolution: Gather information, conduct research, and resolve customer inquiries with a focus on providing accurate and timely solutions.

Patient Communication: Communicate available options to resolve account issues and inform patients about services they may be eligible for.

Scheduling & Coverage: Ensure proper phone coverage during shift hours, prioritize calls, and escalate issues as necessary.

Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to provide optimal patient outcomes and ensure smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Spanish fluency is a plus.

2-5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management or related field.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Work environment is either remote or an office location.
- The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time with frequent bending and stooping
- Must have current, valid driver license or reliable transportation to commute to/from work
