Position Summary
Gettysburg College is currently seeking individuals to work 40 hrs / wk Monday – Friday during the summer in the Facilities Department. Two Electrician helper positions are available to assist the Electricians across campus. Tasks would include changing light bulbs / fixtures, bulb ballasts, light switches, plug receptacles and minor electrical repairs. Other obligations could include replacing indoor ceiling tile and assisting the HVAC department with removal and installation of small window a / c’s.
Status : Part-time, Casual (no benefits included)
Pay Rate : $12.00 per hour
Positions are anticipated to start sometime around May 19th, but could be earlier, with a commitment to stay through early to mid-August.
Some weekend and evening work may be required. Standard operating summer hours 7am-3 : 30pm daily.

Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered. Driver’s license preferred, but not required. A minimum of two years driving experience with a clean record is preferred, but not required.
