Position Summary
Gettysburg College is currently seeking individuals to work 40 hrs / wk Monday – Friday during the summer in the Housekeeping Department. Two positions are available that will assist the Facilities Housekeeping Department in its preparations for student return. Tasks would include moving furniture and equipment within residential spaces; vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing of floors. Other obligations could include assisting with trash removal and other custodial duties. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Status : Part-time, Casual (no benefits included)
Pay Rate : $12.00 per hour
Positions are anticipated to start sometime around May 12th with a commitment to stay through mid-August.
Some weekend and evening work may be required. Standard operating summer hours 6am-2 : 30pm daily.

Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered. Driver’s license preferred, but not required. A minimum of two years driving experience with a clean record is preferred, but not required.
Salary : $12
