IT Systems Administrator
The IT Systems Administrator role is responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its functionality, security, and efficiency. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and hardware / software systems, as well as implementing security protocols to protect against cyber threats. The IT Systems Administrator role involves monitoring network traffic, detecting and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Additionally, the IT Systems Administrator troubleshoots the system issues, performs routine maintenance, and conducts regular backups. The IT Systems Administrator also use monitoring tools to track system performance and security events, providing reports to management, and collaborate with other IT teams to align security measures with business needs and regulatory requirements. This role requires both strong system administration skills and a deep understanding of cyber security practices. The IT Systems Administrator Role will report to the VP, IT Department.
