Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator Assistant to support our firm’s hiring efforts. This role is integral to attracting top legal talent by managing the recruitment process, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Coordination:
- Assist in managing the logistic for prescreening, virtual and onsite interviews for attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff.
- Post job openings on various platforms, including the company website, job boards, and legal associations.
- Screen resumes and coordinate initial candidate outreach.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Interview & Selection Process:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and agency.
- Prepare interview materials and ensure a smooth interview experience for candidates.
- Collect and organize feedback from interviewers.
Candidate Experience & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a professional and positive recruitment experience.
- Provide timely updates to candidates regarding their application status.
- Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding procedures.
Event & Networking Support:
- Coordinate recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Assist with law school outreach programs and internship recruitment.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain recruiting records and reports for hiring trends and compliance.
- Support hiring managers with recruitment-related administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with legal hiring regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in legal recruitment, HR, or a related field.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is a plus.
