Confirmations Technician II

On-site in Santa Rosa, CA
6 month contract
Shift: 11 AM to 7:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Confirmations Technician II supports analytical testing operations by performing sample analysis, data processing, and documentation in compliance with standard procedures. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results in a laboratory environment focused on quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Accurately identify and process analyzed samples
- Process instrument data and generate corresponding reports
- Conduct initial review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS data per assay SOPs
- Upload or transcribe results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Ensure proper documentation of Chain of Custody for each batch
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate issues promptly
- Maintain a safe and healthful work environment
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
- Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, and lab instruments
