Project Manager, Development
Contract through the end of 2025
Hybrid - Clark, NJ (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)
Responsibilities:
• Project Orchestration & Timeline Management
- Manage project timelines and trackers to ensure cross-functional visibility and adherence to key dates.
- Lead collaborative meetings, escalating risks and aligning stakeholders effectively.
- Support sustainable, cost-effective decoration practices aligned with brand and environmental goals.
• Color Expertise & Development
- Partner with Marketing to define color targets and product concepts that reflect brand identity.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop high-quality, technically feasible colors and artwork.
- Apply strong color science knowledge to ensure consistency across materials.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation
- Evaluate risks and costs in color development, ensuring alignment with industrial budgets.
- Prevent first reception rejections by ensuring all standards and samples are in place.
- Support quality and aesthetic consistency during press approvals and decoration reviews.
• Packaging Execution
- Handle low-complexity packaging tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of project deliverables.
- Contribute to overall project success by maintaining packaging quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in proven package development and/or color development project management, preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline a plus
- Proficient PC skills – Excel / PowerPoint
