Summary Description:

The primary responsibility of this position will be to processing and managing a high volume of invoices for the organizations vendors, suppliers, and contractors. This role involves accurately entering and verifying invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining timely payment schedules to support the companys financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process all incoming invoices in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
• Clearly communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure that payments are applied correctly.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all invoices, payments and related documentation.
• Assist in the month-end closing process by ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded.
• Support other accounting or finance functions as needed.

Qualifications Required:

Education:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years working in an accounts payable or general accounting preferred

Skills:

• Ability to accurately review and process invoices and financial data, ensuring precision in accounting entries.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
• Capability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate well with team members, both within accounting departments and across other departments.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
