Summary Description:
The International Sales Support team member provides excellent customer care to customers in a timely manner with an emphasis on providing accurate information, effective communication and issue resolution. This position is also responsible for the timely submission of customer orders and managing customer expectations. The position will jointly report to the Managing Director of International based overseas and the National Support Team Manager in the cooperate office in Cincinnati. This position will support business across the globe and coordinate projects and support between our offices in Brisbane Australia, Manchester UK and Hong Kong.
Primary Duties:
- Provides customer care to customers in a timely manner with an emphasis on providing accurate information, effective communication and issue resolution.
- Project coordination.
- Provides product knowledge, pricing and availability for retail customers.
- Manage approved pricing strategies for international retail partners and/or distributors.
- Manages customer expectations and resolves problems, as needed.
- Troubleshoots purchase order related issues.
- Assist as the liaison to operations for retail partner shipping requirements.
- Communicates any current shipping information on delinquent orders with customers.
- Contacts retail partners regarding order discrepancies, inaccurate information, holds.
- Provides promotional materials to stores.
- Improves process flow between the business, field sales & retail partners.
- Promotes product launches.
- Work with order entry to complete and process orders.
- Project management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field coupled with relevant internship experience;
or 3-4 years Inside Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales Management experience without degree;
prefer international experience.
Specific Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer focus
- Attention to detail
- Ability up to 10% travel for trade shows and international travel
- Prefer Bilingual - English/ Spanish
